The East Central Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will both play in the opening round of the Region 23 tournament this weekend.
Both teams will play Saturday, March 8, with the men going on the road while the women play at home.
The Lady Warriors enter the tournament as the #8 seed. They will host the #9 seed Lady Jaguars of Southern University-Shreveport.
That game will be played at the Bracken-Wood Gymnasium in Decatur at 2:00 pm.
In the men’s bracket, the 12th seeded warriors will go on the road to face 5th seeded Holmes Bulldogs. That game will be played at 2:00 pm in the Frank Branch Coliseum in Goodman.
