The Leake Academy Rebels were at home tonight in Madden to play the Tri-County Rebels from Flora. Tri-County had a big opening quarter scoring 20 points while holding the Leake Rebels to 7 points. At halftime the Leake Rebels had cut into Tri-County lead trailing 20-13. During the second half, Tri-County scored 14 points in the 3rd quarter to Leake Academy’s 8 points giving Tri-County a 13 point lead going into the final quarter, 34-21. Tri County added another 13 points in the final quarter to win tonight’s game by 26 points, 47-21. Easton Page was named tonight’s In Sports player of the game. Next week the Rebels will host Canton Academy in Madden.
