The Leake Academy Rebels hosted the Jaguars of Wayne Academy in Tuesday’s baseball action, the first game of regional action.
The Jaguars led off with five runs in the top of the first. They held the lead until the bottom of the sixth when the Rebels tied it up and then took the lead on a walk.
After a hard-fought game, the final score was 9-8, Rebels, and increasing their winning streak to 12, 1-0 in region play
Majure Chandler was named the Wendy’s Player of the Game.
