The Leake Academy Varsity basketball teams were back in action tonight in Madden hosting Tri-County Academy from Flora in the teams first district game . The Lady Rebels won their game by 49 points, 71-22 to improve to 11-3 overall on the season and now 1-0 in the district. With a 50-9 halftime lead the entire second half was played with a running clock with the remainder of the Lady Rebels roster getting playing time.
In the Men’s game, the Rebels were up by 21 points at halftime, 37-16 and won the game by 21 points, 65-44 to improve to 11-1 overall and 1-0 in the district.
Our next broadcast of Leake Academy Rebels varsity basketball will be Thursday night at 6:00pm when the Rebels host the Lamar Schools Raiders from Meridian.
