The Leake Academy Rebels were home tonight for game 2 of their series with the Generals from Washington School from Greenville in the district 2 semi-final playoffs. The Rebels won game one and advanced to the State final series winning tonight’s game two, 2-1 in seven innings. The Rebels scored their two runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. The Generals scored their solo run in the 3rd inning but were unable to add to that score in the remainder of the game. Details on the state championship series next week will be announced as they become available.
