The Leake Academy varsity basketball teams were back in action at the Joe F. Shepard Gymnasium in Madden tonight hosting the Patriots of Winston Academy from Louisville in MAIS District 2 -3A action. The Lady Rebels defeated the Lady Patriots by 42 points, 72-30 to improve to 14-3 overall and 3-0 in the district.
In the Men’s game, the Rebels defeated the Patriots by 48 points, 64-16 to improve to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in the district.
Our next broadcast of Leake Academy varsity basketball on Boswell Media Sports on Cruisin 98 will be next Monday at Canton Academy in Canton. Tipoff for the girls game is set for 6:00pm.
