Both the Leake Academy Lady Rebels and Rebels advanced to play for the MAIS 3A State Championship Saturday after both teams posted wins in the semifinal games today. The Lady Rebels won their game by 43 points, 57-14 over the Lady Cougars of Columbia Academy and will play for the championship Saturday with the tipoff set for 2:15pm. The Leake Rebels also had an impressive win over the Bulldogs of Christian Collegiate Academy from Gulfport winning the contest by 22 points, 71-49 to advance to the state championship Saturday with a scheduled 7:15pm tipoff.
