The Leake Academy varsity basketball teams completed play today in the North 5A Tournament taking place at East Rankin Academy. The Lady Rebels played in the Championship game meeting the home team East Rankin Academy Lady Patriots. The Lady Rebels fall short to the Patriots by 3 points, 47-44 and will be the #2 seed in next week’s State 5A Tournament from Pillow Academy in Greenwood. The Rebels played in the consolation game against Rossville Christian Academy. The Rebels fall short to Rossville by 1 point, 54-53 and will enter the State 5A Tournament as the # 4 seed.
