The Leake Academy varsity basketball teams were in action tonight at Joe F. Shepard gymnasium in Madden hosting Oak Hill Academy from West Point. The Lady Rebels improved their overall season record to 26-4 and 9-0 in the district with a 53 point win over the Lady Raiders, 68-15. In the men’s game, the Rebels improved to 26-3 overall and 8-1 in the district with a 49 point victory over the Raiders, 70-21. Our next broadcast of Leake Academy varsity basketball on Cruisin98 will be one week from this Thursday night, January 29th at 6:00pm when the Rebels begin play in the MAIS District 2-3A tournament hosted by Leake Academy in Madden.
