Leake Academy quarterback George Wilcox has been named an “Athlete of the Week” by The Clarion Ledger.
Wilcox earned the honor for his performance in the Rebels’ 55-21 win over Pillow Academy from Friday, Oct. 4.
In that game, Wilcox passed for 358 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 13 yards and one touchdown.
