The “Leake Scarecrows” were created and designed by local community members and artists. The scarecrows are now being decorated by local businesses. The collaboration has produced special and unique designs now blanketed throughout the community. No two are alike. Now the contest for BEST Leake Main Street Chamber Scarecrow proceeds.
Only one scarecrow can win BEST. Anyone can vote. And every ballot has a chance to win. The prize is $100 in Leake County bucks. Ballots are available at Leake County Main Street Chamber or Walnut Grove Town Hall. For additional information call Leake Main Street Chamber at 601-267-9231
