On Wednesday at 411pm, Madden Fire Department was called out to the intersection of Hwy 488 and Laurel Hill Rd, at the cemetery, for a light pole on fire. A later report said that it had caught the grass on fire. The fire turned out to be small and was put out without difficulty.
