Lincoln Park remains closed to the public. According to Carthage City Hall, renovations which began last winter are still in the process of being completed. The community center, multiuse ball field, bleachers, basketball court and landscaping are aspects of the park which are being improved.
Discussions for a possible reopening date will be held today.
