Wes Brown, a firefighter at Carthage Fire Department and part-time officer at Carthage Police Department, recently finished the 80 hour fire investigator training course at Mississippi State Fire Academy. Brown is now the Fire Investigator for the City of Carthage.
Carthage Police Chief, Billy McMillan says: “Wes will utilize his dual certifications in police and fire to best serve the citizens of Carthage by investigating arson cases and prosecuting them through the court system.”
Carthage Fire Chief, Lonzo Jones commended Brown’s commitment to serving the community, highlighting his dedication and expertise in firefighting and law enforcement.
