LTC facilities are reporting a significant increase of Covid-19 cases. The MSDH reports 637 cases statewide, a marked increase within the last week. According to the MSDH, long term care (LTC) facilities are considered high risk locations because their residents are older or in poor health. Regionally, Attala County is reporting an increase to 16 cases overall, Neshoba County is reporting 2 cases and Winston is reporting 1 case. Leake County is still reporting zero cases.
