Stuart, a Mississippi native and Country Music Hall of Fame member, has become a familiar face at The Ellis Theater, drawing audiences with his blend of country, bluegrass, rockabilly and traditional American roots music.

Joining Stuart for the show will be Molly Tuttle, one of the most acclaimed musicians in modern bluegrass. Tuttle recently earned back-to-back Grammy Awards for her albums Crooked Tree and City of Gold with her band Golden Highway and also received a nomination for Best New Artist.

Tuttle is currently promoting her latest album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine, which was recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce. The album features a mix of original songs and a cover of the hit song I Love It.

She won the honor again the following year and has continued to receive recognition throughout her career. She has also been named Instrumentalist of the Year by the Americana Music Association.

According to theater officials, the August concert will bring together two of the most respected acts in roots music for a night of bluegrass, country and Americana performances.
