Tracking changes in gas prices in this part of central Mississippi is like watching paint dry. It’s happening very, very slowly. AAA says the average price in Neshoba County Wednesday is down almost two cents to $3.98, while Leake County’s average price is up a penny to $4.00. There’s been no change in Attala County, where gas is averaging $3.92, about the same as the statewide average.
