Minor Crash and Lots of Fighting Monday in Leake

Carthage and Leake authorities responded to several incidents on Monday, May 19, and most of them were fights.

Just before noon, officers were called to a donut shop on Hwy 16 West for a minor crash in the parking lot after a vehicle struck a pole. No injuries were reported.

Later in the day, Leake County Deputies responded to a disturbance on Utah Road around 2:20 p.m.

Shortly before 3 p.m., Carthage Police were alerted to a dispute involving three teenagers on Euclid Street which turned out to be a verbal argument.

At 3:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to Dr. Martin Luther King Drive for a domestic disturbance involving a mother and son.
