Submissions for the Mississippi Songwriter of the Year have ended.
Fifteen finalists will be selected to play their songs live at the Guitar Academy in downtown Kosciusko on June 27th.
A panel of judges will listen to each song and judge its lyrics. The winner will receive a $2000 scholarship towards getting their song professionally recorded and produced.
