Thursday, May 7th is the National Day of Prayer, and a gathering will be held in Philadelphia at 12 PM at Dewitt-DeWeese Park.
David Addy of the Neshoba Baptist Association will be giving the welcome, while Philadelphia Mayor Jim Fulton, Neshoba County Sherriff Eric Clark, and a few church leaders will be leading the prayers.
This year’s theme is 1 Chronicles 16:24 – “Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.”
