The Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department is getting its own app.
According to a Facebook post, the Neshoba County Board of Supervisors approved funding for the app during Monday’s meeting.
“This app will be a great asset to the citizens of Neshoba County and enhance the public safety for the county,” reads an excerpt from the post.
Once the app is completed, it will have a number of features such as a jail roster, recent arrests, push notifications and more.
The department plans to release more information once the app is closer to being launched.
