PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–Political speakers at this year’s Neshoba Co. Fair includes House Speaker Jason White, and Gov. Tate Reeves, among a variety of others.
The fair this year is June 19-26, dates that are more than a month earlier than usual and that were chosen because of new year-round school schedules.
The speaking schedule has White speaking at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at Founder’s Square, to be followed immediately by Reeves.
Wednesday, June 24, beginning at 9:50 a.m., two candidates for U.S. Senate running against Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith will speak. Ty Pinkins, running as an Independent, is up first, to be followed by Democrat Scott Colom.
Hyde-Smith is not on the bill.
