The Newton County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in a deadly shooting investigation.
Kennard Nichols was charged with second degree murder in the death of Donzell McDonald. Investigators said the shooting happened at Nichols’ house in the 3600 block of Pine Bluff Road in the Pine Bluff community Wednesday night.
