It’s time to bring the pets in if at all possible. With temperatures and wind chill factors potentially dropping into the single digits, your pet could actually freeze to death. MEMA says to bring animals indoors, but if not at least modify shelter arrangements. Dog houses should be enclosed with a roof. Try to raise it above ground if possible. Also, provide extra food and water at all times.
If its too cold for you its too cold for them.
