A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in front of KFC in Carthage just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 19. EMS and Carthage Police were dispatched to the scene.
The victim reported pain on their right side, but no serious injuries were reported.
One person was arrested soon after and transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility.
