Philadelphia First Responders Handle Multiple Crashes Wednesday

First Responders in Philadelphia were kept busy Wednesday, January 22, with multiple crashes.

At 9:35 a.m., Philadelphia Police, Philadelphia Fire Department, and EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash with entrapment at the Hwy 15 S and W Beacon St. intersection. Emergency crews successfully freed those trapped, and at least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.

At 12:25 p.m., police were dispatched to another two-vehicle wreck on W Beacon St. in front of AutoZone. No injuries were reported, and the scene was quickly cleared.

A final crash occurred just after 9 p.m. near the intersection of E Main St. and Henley Ave. Responders reported injuries, and at least one vehicle was towed from the scene.
