UPDATED: Philadelphia PD investigating after finding a man dead Thursday

Update (12/8/23):

Philadelphia Police have arrested Roderick J. Talley, 24 of Philadelphia, for the shooting death of Kendall Triplett.  Talley has been charged with 1st degree murder and is being held at the Winston-Choctaw County Detention Center.

Police in Philadelphia are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead Thursday afternoon.

The man was found inside of a vehicle just after 2:00 pm in a driveway on Clyde Avenue.

According to police, both the body and vehicle had been there for a few hours.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Kendall Triplett of Philadelphia, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head.

WTOK-TV reports that police have identified a person of interest and plan to release more details on Friday.
