PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–Philadelphia has a new officer on the force. His name is Met and he’s a Belgian Malinois.
He started with his partner Justin Wyatt, last week. The cost for a K-9 officer is about $20,000. Weyerhauser footed most of the bill for that with a grant.
Met was purchased from a specialized training facility in Louisiana.
