The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Choctaw Tribal Schools celebrated the opening of the new Choctaw Central High School and Choctaw Central Middle School campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 14.
Students, educators, tribal leaders, community members, and guests gathered at the new campus, located at 12780 Highway 16 West in Choctaw, to mark the completion of the new educational facility.
The ceremony began at 1 p.m., followed by the official ribbon cutting at 2:15 p.m. and facility tours for attendees.
The new campus features modern learning spaces designed to support Choctaw students and provide an updated environment for education, activities, and student success.
Community members were invited to attend the celebration, with free commemorative T-shirts available while supplies lasted.
