Polaris UTV stolen from Neshoba County recovered in Attala County

A Polaris UTV reported stolen in Neshoba County over the weekend has been recovered in Atala County.

According to a release from the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was reported stolen Sunday, Oct. 6 from a home on Road 763.

The owner reported that vehicle was stolen from their shop and was valued at approximately $35,000.

It was located in a fabrication shop Monday and had already been partially stripped of parts.

Authorities located the vehicle at a fabrication shop in Attala County where it had been stripped for parts, some of which had already been sold.

The case is being investigated as a false insurance claim and felony charges are pending.
