At about 7:15 Tuesday morning, Carthage police were alerted to reckless drivers traveling East Franklin Street.
Communications received a call from a parent stating that her children were waiting outside for the school bus, and that passing drivers weren’t slowing down.
Officers were dispatched to the area to slow traffic and keep the children safe.
