Scott Central High School has hired David Frey as its new head football coach.
Frey spent the past six seasons as the head coach at Philadelphia.
He spent the 2018 as interim head coach of the Tornadoes after the resignation of Bobby Hall.
That season he took over the team in Week 3 and led the team to the third round of the playoffs.
He was named the full-time head coach in December 2018.
While at Philadelphia, he compiled a record of 40-32 and made the postseason each year of his tenure.
Prior to Philadelphia, Frey was an assistant at other area schools such as Leake Central and Kosciusko.
