Severe weather is likely today and this evening in the central Mississippi area including our region. Severe thunderstorms are likely Tuesday into Tuesday evening, and they will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, hail to the size of golf balls, and possible tornadoes. Timing for our area is between 1pm-4pm.
