Severe weather is still possible in our region this New Years Eve. According to the National Weather Service of Jackson Severe thunderstorms, capable of producing damaging wind gusts and tornadoes, are possible on New Year’s Eve across portions of central and southern Mississippi. Thunderstorms will be possible during the day, However, the main time-frame for the severe weather will be Thursday evening and overnight. We will keep you updated as this storm system progresses.
