Sheriff: One Neshoba Co. inmate tests positive for COVID-19

A Neshoba County jail inmate has COVID-19.

Sheriff Eric Clark shared the diagnosis in a news release Tuesday. and said it was confirmed May 8.

“We have and will continue to work with the Mississippi State Department of Health to ensure that we are following all recommendations for the treatment and containment of this virus,” Clark said.

This is the first confirmed case for the Neshoba County jail.
