Shots Fired During a Repo in Leake County Today

At approximately 9:47 a.m., Leake County Deputies received a call stating that someone in the process of repossessing a vehicle was shot at. The incident happened at a residence on Storm Road in Lena. The “repo man” was not injured. We will update with further details as we receive them.

4:09 p.m. – Leake County Deputies were called to a residence on Truelight Road in Walnut Grove when a break-in was reported there.

4:38 p.m. – Leake County Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle wreck on Mars Hill Road near Highway 25. A vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

5:02 p.m. – Leake County Deputies and Emergency Medical Services responded to a one-vehicle crash on Hopoca Road near Highway 25. A car left the roadway and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.

5:03 p.m. – Leake County Deputies were called to a domestic disturbance in progress on Coosa Road.

6:25 p.m. – Leake County Deputies responded to a call reporting a domestic disturbance in progress on Red Dog Road.
