Snap benefits will continue. According to the Mississippi Department of Human Services households currently receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits will be eligible for a supplemental benefit for January 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Similar benefits were provided for certified SNAP households for the previous months. These funds should be available around January 5th. For newly approved households funds will be available approximately two days after approval.
