On Sunday, December 8, Carthage Police responded to a call at McDonald’s around 1:37 p.m. regarding an unresponsive driver in the drive-thru. The driver, a female, was arrested and transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility for DUI.
Later that evening, around 10:38 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence off Brooks Road in the Rosebud area when a caller reported a suspicious vehicle repeatedly entered their driveway. The vehicle’s occupants, who knocked on the door before leaving, were stopped by deputies and claimed they had gone to the wrong address.
Just before 11 p.m., Leake County Deputies and Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a call reporting a vehicle hydroplaned on Highway 25 South, just north of Highway 16. No injuries were reported.
