The Leake Academy varsity basketball teams were back in action at the Joe F. Shepard gymnasium in Madden tonight playing the Stars of Winona Christian. The Lady Rebels improved to 23-4 overall and 7-0 in the district with a 49 point victory over the Lady Stars, 65-16. In the men’s game, the Rebels enjoyed a 37 point victory over the Stars, 68-31 to improve to 23-3 overall and 6-1 in the district.
Our next broadcast of Leake Academy varsity basketball on Cruisin98 will be this Saturday, January 17th when the Rebels host the Patriots of East Rankin Academy from Pelahatchie at Madden.
