The heat is still on as indices are expected to peak at up to 110 degrees today. This heat combined with humidity make for muggy conditions. Watch out for heat exhaustion if you remain active outside for long periods of time. The National weather service in Jackson is reminding us to hydrate and use caution especially until 7pm today. Tonight will be milder. Tomorrow we can expect more heat and humidity throughout the day once again
