The State Health Department reported 48 more COVID-19 deaths Friday, including two in Neshoba County and one in Leake County. Death certificates from last month are being reviewed and some of the 48 deaths date back to early January. Friday’s total of new cases– 7,839– was the largest one-day jump this week. Neshoba County is approaching 10,000 cases since March 2020.
