A vehicle caught fire on Hwy 35 N near the Singleton area on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
The vehicle fire was a result of a crash involving a tractor and a passenger vehicle.
Leake County Deputies, MS Hwy Patrol, EMS, Barnes Volunteer Fire Department, and Carthage Fire Department were all dispatched to the scene.
The passenger vehicle was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene. There were no major injuries reported.
