Two Brandon, MS residents, 56-year-old Edward Pinter and 60-year-old Melvin Franklin, were killed in a crash on Hwy 25 near Utah Road in Leake County on Sunday according to Mississippi Highway Patrol.
First responders were notified just after 3 p.m. that the Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Mr. Pinter, collided with a tree. The two were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
