A home on Fortune Lane was burglarized over the weekend. Leake County deputies and investigators were called to the residence on Sunday, March 2.
The homeowner reported an AR-15 rifle, ammunition, and several personal items missing.
Authorities noted signs of forced entry, including an A/C unit that was tampered with and an open back door.
Fingerprints and other evidence was collected and The Leake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
