Wildfire Danger Extends Through Friday

With no rain forecast, the threat of wildfires will continue across Mississippi through Friday.  The National Weather Service has expanded its Level-1 “limited” threat to cover the entire local area.   Low humidity and gusty winds will combine with the continued drought to create favorable conditions for fires to break out and spread.
