Outdoor enthusiasts and families in Central Mississippi will have a full lineup of events to look forward to as the Kosciusko Attala Partnership presents the Attala County Wildlife Extravaganza Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Attala County Coliseum.
Held in partnership with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, the daylong event centers around the theme “Hunt • Fish • Conserve • Together” and offers activities for all ages.
Doors open at 8:00 AM on Saturday. Throughout the day, attendees can explore vendor booths, watch turkey calling demonstrations, participate in outdoor education opportunities, and enjoy family-friendly activities.
Prior to Saturday’s main event, local hunters and anglers can participate in the Fin, Horn & Feather Scoring, which takes place Friday, Sept. 25, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Community members are encouraged to bring in their best mounts and trophies for official scoring.
Tickets for the Extravaganza are $10 per person.
Admission includes access to all daytime activities, a BBQ dinner beginning at 5:00 PM, and a keynote presentation at 6:00 PM by Chad Holmes, CFO of Mid West White Tails.
