A storm that touched down in Winston County Sunday night is being classified as a high-end EF-1 tornado. A National Weather Service survey team says it was on the ground for about four miles east of Louisville, damaging a couple of homes and a gas station with winds estimated at 110 miles an hour. It’s one of six tornadoes confirmed so far from those storms Sunday night. And the new total across Mississippi from the tornado outbreak the previous weekend has reached 44.
