GLUCKSTADT, Miss.–A woman from Louisville is charged with aggravated DUI in the wrong-way crash Saturday on I-55 that killed a teacher from Canton.
Jordon Leah Sullivan, 32, of Louisville, was taken to the hospital after the wreck, but is charged driving drunk and causing the crash, according to Gluckstadt Police.
Tyra Small-Jackson, 48, of Canton, who taught for 23 years in the Canton Public School District, was killed. A woman and a baby were also in the same car in which Small-Jackson was riding and were injured, but are expected to be okay.
Small-Jackson was teacher of the year for the last academic year at Nichols Middle School.
