FOREST, Miss.–Three people died in a house fire Friday night on Anderson Rd. in rural Scott County, said Coroner Hunter Wolf.
The fire was reported just before midnight.
Walnut Grove volunteer firefighters were called to provide some assistance once it became clear there were people inside the house.
While the names of the people killed have not yet been released, WJTV reports they were an elderly woman her two adult sons.
It was unclear how the fire started and the state fiure marshal’s office is looking into it.
