Camper Fire in Neshoba County Pasture

SHARE NOW

PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–A camper was burning Friday night in a pasture northeast of Philadelphia.

The call was right at 8 p.m. for a structure fire on County Rd. 610, which is northeast of Philadelphia. A deputy on the way there responded that it was likely a camper and that he knew there were several in the pasture at that location.

When deputies got there, they told dispatchers that there may not have been enough room to get a fire truck into the area to fight the fire.

The outcome was unclear from police radio communication.
